Membership

If you are interested in finding out more about badgers, or you would like to join the Binfield Badger Group, please complete the form on this page and post to the Membership Secretary. Membership only costs £4 per year for adults and £1 per year for under 18.

As a member, you will receive regular newsletters and invitations to meetings, and will be able to visit the hide at the sett to watch the badgers.

You can either download the Word version (click here) and print it, or you can fill in the following and print it (it does not automatically send).  Please send us your cheque (not cash), made out to "Binfield Badger Group", with this form to the address below. Your membership will be started once we receive your membership fee.

Under the Gift Aid scheme, from 6^th April 2000 registered charities like the Binfield Badger Group may reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers. This means, for example, that if an individual makes a donation of £10.00 to the Binfield Badger Group, we can ask the Inland Revenue to take £2.82 out of the tax paid by that person and give it to us!  That donation is then worth £12.82 to the Binfield Badger Group at no extra cost to the donor - as long as they have completed a Gift Aid declaration.

Once you have printed, completed and returned this Gift Aid Declaration all donations made by you after 6^th April 2000 will count as Gift Aid donations. You do not need to complete a declaration for each donation.

I would like my subscription payment and any donations I have made to the Binfield Badger Group since 6^th April 2000, and any such subscription payments/donations that I make hereafter, to be treated as Gift Aid donations. I confirm that I will be paying an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax, at least equivalent to the tax that the Binfield Badger Group reclaims on my subscription/donation(s) in each tax year.
